Abstract

The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya in collaboration with the School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal and Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development has organized an Three day International Conference on South Asian Vernacular Architecture (SAVA). The sangrahalaya also organized a three day programme ‘Purvotar Se’ that centered on the North-Eastern states. In first session experts disscuss about their views over vernacular architecture and in the second session cultural performance is given by folk artists of North Eastern state.
