Abstract

In the closing ceremony of Three day International Conference on South Asian Vernacular Architecture (SAVA) from December 10th to 13th, 2015 organized by the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal (IGRMS), School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal (SPAB) and the Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development, New Delhi (ITRHD), at IGRMS Bhopal the Charter for the Propagation of Vernacular Conventions for Architecture in South Asia is released by Ms. Sunita Kohli, Chairperson, BOG, School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, Mr. S K Mishra Chairman, ITRHD, Delhi and Dr. Sarit K. Chaudhury, Director, IGRMS, Bhopal. Cultural performances under ‘Purvotar se’ is performed by artists at ‘Vithi sankul’ indoor auditorium.
