dc.description.abstract | This thesis deals with literature study done for designing museums. It is studied for the thesis Aerospace museum. Museum is an institution which cares for collection of artifacts and other important objects to preserve and conserve history. How visitors circulate in the museum galleries that gives us the broad perspective of the circulation of a museum. Overall it depends on the size of galleries and also exhibits which we need to exhibit in the museum. The term space syntax encompasses a set of theories and techniques for the analysis of spatial configurations. The general idea is that spaces can be broken down into components, analyzed as networks of choices, then represented as maps and graphs that describe the relative connectivity and integration of those spaces. It rests on three basic conceptions of space. What dimensions of our experience of museums are determined by the way galleries and objects are organized spatially? These questions are addressed in this study and the architectural drawings of the thesis are made accordingly as per the background study of this thesis. | en_US |
