Emphasis has been laid on various destinations which are connected through tissues (parks, promenades, pedestrian bridges). The architectural language of these destinations would change in order to allow flow of public from one destination to another. The user experience has been the main concept for designing the entire riverfront. The industrial and polluted image of the city of Kanpur has to been changed and this thesis aims at rejuvenating the old city along the banks of River Ganges.
